How to use Seedance 2.5 online, step by step
1. Open the creator workspace
Start from the Seedance 2.5 product page and use its creation entry. Follow the site's sign-in flow. After signing in, confirm that you have returned to the video workspace before starting a generation.

2. Choose text or image input
Use text-to-video when the scene can be invented from a written brief. Use an image or reference mode when the appearance of a real product, character or location matters. Confirm that the uploaded image appears correctly in the preview.
Start with one asset. Additional references should solve a specific problem, such as product identity or a desired camera motion. If the uploader assigns reference labels, use those labels exactly when writing the prompt.
3. Set format and duration
Select an aspect ratio that matches the destination: portrait for a vertical clip, landscape for a widescreen scene. Choose an available short duration for the first test, and check the output options offered by the selected model.
Writing “vertical” or “30 seconds” in a prompt does not necessarily change the interface settings. Confirm both before generating. Read the displayed charge, and consult the current pricing or help information if it is unclear.
4. Enter a testable prompt
Give the clip one subject, one action and one camera instruction. For a text-only first test, try:

End on a stable hero view. No additional objects or generated text.
These are practice prompts. Choose a pass condition before running one: the requested action occurs, the subject stays recognizable and the ending can be used in an edit. The 20 prompt examples provide more subjects once the first workflow is working.
5. Generate once and keep the task record
Start the generation after reviewing the selected model, settings and estimate. If the workspace shows a task ID or a history entry, keep it. Check that existing job while it is processing instead of starting another identical job to refresh the page.
There is no fixed completion time established by this guide. Queue state, input complexity and the service can affect the wait. If an error appears, save the exact message and task ID before deciding what to retry.
6. Review and export
Watch the whole result. Compare the opening, middle and ending for subject drift, unintended camera movement and crop problems. Use the workspace's download or export control when the clip is ready, then open the saved file to confirm it plays.
Save the prompt and settings with the export. When revising, change one variable such as the camera move, action or reference image. A meaningful correction may require a phrase or a sentence; changing one arbitrary word is not a reliable debugging method.
